Basic InfoGenesis SaaS Environment 101-2 Day Session

2 day, 16-hour in person introductory course of technical training on current versions of InfoGenesis Classic (IG) in the SaaS environment with hands on reproduction of errors and resolve in a lab environment to replicate commonly deployed scenarios is part of core content.​ This course is intended for persons supporting the users of InfoGenesis.  It is not intended for those that are nontechnical as going into the application during the hands-on portions is required.  Basic understanding of check flow, databases, terminal option groups and the impact within the application will be engaged.  Additionally, basic capacity of network understanding, and environmental impact will be discussed. Note: Seats are limited to allow for the hands-on activity in environment.  Upon signup for this course, the user is purchasing a reserved seat in the course.  As the course fills up to seat capacity, availability will be turned off.  As a result, no refunds or credits are allowed.

Intermediate/ Advanced InfoGenesis SaaS Environment/ 12ux 102-4 Day Session*

4 day, 32-hour in person intermediate course of technical training building upon skills achieved and maintained from the Basic InfoGenesis 101-1 Day Session, technical personnel will learn to further diagnose and remediate more difficult common issues and learn to ensure operational continuity.  Further learning on the current versions of InfoGenesis Classic (IG) in the SaaS environment and feature sets as well as configuration of such things as gift cards, GA accounts, interfaces to PMS and CMS as well as several others.  This is not a beginner course as the training will have a minimal review of the basic course and pick up from that point launching into the application, use cases and support needs as well as diagnosis to resolution. This is a learn, think do oriented course that the users will have to do in lab environment with staged instances of InfoGenesis Classic (IG) in the SaaS environment with embedded defect errors that the user will need to diagnose and remediate to return to operations quickly.  A brief discussion of common network and environmental factors such as transmission/retransmission, time to live, ports, firewalls and capacity for communications will be touched upon during the application symptoms and diagnostics. In addition, building upon skills achieved and maintained from the Basic InfoGenesis 101 and Intermediate InfoGenesis 102 course, technical personnel will learn to engage advanced issues, diagnose, mitigate and/or remediate more advanced issues while learning to properly ensure a case is prepared to be into support and up through to Product QA quickly for intervention and hotfix consideration with build.  With the goal of always working ensure operational continuity for the stakeholders, understand the reasons and mitigations needed to effectively keep continuous operations the learner will gain the skills to be an InfoGenesis support expert, engage with the Sr technical resources and know when an issue is product code fix or impacted by operational processes and local environment or other 3rd party interference.  A deeper discussion of common network and environmental factors such as transmission/retransmission, time to live, ports, firewalls and capacity for communications will be touched upon during the application symptoms and diagnostics.   Running an enterprise environmental tool called Wireshark and how to do a PCAP analysis to identify issues in environment that impact the PPOS application will be addressed. Basic Modernized LMS UI 101- 2 Day

2 day, 16-hour in person introductory course of technical training on modernized LMS with hands on reproduction of errors and resolve in a lab environment to replicate commonly deployed scenarios is part of core content.​ The class will cover plethora of intro topics such as room reservations, font desk, accounts receivable, front desk, reporting, and night audit operations. Class attendees should include accounting, front desk, all call center agents, supervisors, front office agents, night auditors, supervisors responsible for making/changing/ cancelling guest reservations and managing accounting operations.

Intermediate/ Advance LMS UI 102- 4 Day

4 day, 32-hour in person intermediate/advance course of technical training on modernized LMS with hands on reproduction of errors and resolve in a lab environment to replicate commonly deployed scenarios is part of core content.​ The class will cover the vast scope of LMS UI, which will include front desk, reservations, FD groups,  hotel operations, night audit, housekeeping, display, rating, billing profiles, groups, menu master, accounting for front desk, offers and accounting back office. The class contents will involve. All aspects of entering walk in reservations, locating existing reservations, inventory options, guest services, adding billing profiles, rate locks, and the modification of rates, share and travel with reservations, additional name guests, group search, guest history, charge restrictions, room selection and room moves and guest registration. All aspects of making a reservation from Transient, Group, Casino and Executives. Reviewing room inventory, guest services, adding billing profiles, rate locks, and the modification of rates, share and travel with reservations, additional name guests, group search, guest history, and room selection.  Complete training on the input of groups and their delegates as well as room pre-assignment for group members, group check in, modifying billing, transferring charges and settling the master account. Procedures to balance the user cashiering work of the day and run balancing reports prior to date roll.  In properties where MIS does not perform date roll, post room and tax and submit the night audit, these functions will also be covered.
