Tribal Gaming Industry Leaders to Meet in Southern California

The UNLV Gaming & Hospitality Education Series is the newest concept in continuing education. Featuring six episodes centered on emerging hospitality and gaming industry trends, each one explores the most critical topics faced by hospitality professionals in all roles, and at all levels. This thought-leader series is presented by subject matter experts from across the industry, allowing participants to learn first-hand about the latest technology innovations and trends in both gaming and non-gaming parts of the business.

Next week, this education series goes on the road for the first time. Tribal gaming executives will gather at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Palm Springs to hear about such important topics as the latest trends in slot machines, how non-gaming amenities can set properties apart from the competition, how finance and cash transactions are getting more attention from state and federal governments, how investment in new technology will provide a dramatic return, and much more. Leaders of Southern California casinos and tribes will be in attendance for the May 21^st session, Tribal Gaming Economy: Battling Competition.

The upcoming episode will feature Agilysys’ CIO, Rob Jacks, as one of several panel members presenting ideas about how to differentiate in the tribal gaming community.
