Founded in 1837, Hospitality Action provides financial, practical, and emotional assistance to hospitality professionals facing challenges such as financial hardship, mental health struggles, and long-term illness. The charity has been instrumental in responding to the sector's evolving needs, offering lifelines to workers during industry-wide crises and beyond. Since the beginning of 2020, Hospitality Action has made a substantial impact: spending over £5 million in financial support, awarding more than 15,000 grants, answering over 38,000 helpline calls, and delivering almost 12,000 counselling sessions. Through these efforts, they have supported tens of thousands of industry professionals and their families during difficult times.
This partnership marks a significant milestone as Agilysys becomes one of the first hospitality technology providers to formally partner with Hospitality Action, reflecting the company's unique position as a 100% hospitality-focused organisation. While many vendors serve multiple industries, Agilysys' exclusive focus on hospitality makes this collaboration a natural extension of its commitment to the sector's long-term health and sustainability.
